Modern Greek for Beginners (Engels-Grieks) 2026

Would you like to learn Greek in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere?

This course is intended for complete beginners. We will start with the Greek alphabet and pronunciation and gradually move into everyday Greek: introducing yourself, ordering food and drinks, shopping, asking for directions, travelling, and having simple conversations.

Along the way, we will also explore everyday Greek expressions and aspects of Greek culture, so that the language feels practical and natural.

The aim is to work towards A1 level over the 20 lessons, at a comfortable pace.

The course will be taught in English, with more Greek naturally introduced as we progress.

No previous knowledge of Greek is required.
